The Best Brunch in Barcelona – Little Fern Café

If you’re on the hunt for the best brunch in Barcelona, you need to check out Little Fern Café. Nestled in Poblenou, this cozy yet modern spot is the perfect mix of everything we love about brunch in the city—great food, beautiful presentation, and that relaxed Barcelona vibe that just makes you want to stay a little longer.

We’d been to the Little Fern Bakery before (which is absolutely worth a visit), but this time we finally made it to their café—and wow. A new favorite for sure. Everything we tried was genuinely amazing, from the food to the drinks, and even the playlist (yes, they have their own Spotify playlist.

What we ordered

🥐 Danish Shakshuka – €12.50
Their twist on the classic shakshuka totally blew us away. Think tomatoes and red peppers slow-cooked in spices, all sitting on a buttery Danish puff pastry base, topped with poached egg and roasted feta. Comfort food perfection.

🍳 Turkish Eggs – €9.90
Two poached eggs on a bed of garlic maple yogurt, topped with mild chili oil, dill, crispy onion, and gochugaru — all served with toasted sourdough. Honestly, this one might be one of the best Turkish egg plates we’ve had in Barcelona.

🍞 French Toast – €13.00
Coconut milk–soaked brioche with mascarpone and white chocolate ganache, mango and passion fruit coulis, red fruits, toasted coconut, and a hint of ginger-infused agave syrup. Yes, it tastes as dreamy as it sounds.

We went for a Flat White (€3.00–€3.50) — strong, creamy, and perfectly balanced — and a Hot Chocolate (€3.50) that felt like a warm hug in a cup.
